The city of El Paso has been applying Lean Six Sigma to much success. The process improvement methodology saved taxpayers $252,000 by reevaluating three El Paso Fire Department programs. As a result of the training, the El Paso Fire Department also managed a total cost savings/avoidance of over $1.6 million as well as over 41,000 hours saved. The Lean Six Sigma Program training is part of the City’s strategic plan of delivering services in a timely and efficient manner with a focus on continuous improvement.
